Michelle Koch
Biography
Michelle Koch was born in 1969 in Wisconsin and raised in the mountains of Colorado. She received her BFA in Painting from the University of Kansas in 1992. She has painted, lived, and explored the outdoors in Texas, Massachusetts, and Colorado, and currently lives in Rockford, Illinois.
Her paintings are a quiet testament to the world we often do not see. Using egg tempera, oils, and charcoal, her work reflects time spent in the wilderness observing the natural world.
