Rockford Art Guild (RAG) is collaborating with Nicholas Conservatory for another year with a new and exciting exhibit of more than 25 pieces of art. Nicholas Conservatory is located at 1354 N. Second Street, Rockford.
Artwork will be on display in the lobby from Tuesday, February 27th through March 17th, 2024. This event gives Rockford Art Guild’s artists an opportunity to share their many talents with the community.
The Rockford Art Guild (RAG) is a supportive and encouraging group of people who have a strong passion for the arts. Each member has opportunities to improve, explore, and challenge themselves in ways they would not find elsewhere. Guild members work together to increase the appreciation of art in the Rockford area. The goal is to provide education, growth, and show opportunities for our members, and for other artists in the community. Members work in a variety of media, including mosaic, beading, painting, pottery, sculpting, photography, woodworking, and more.
ARTISTS INFORMATION
To be a part of the Nicholas Conservatory show you need to be on our current roster and a member in good standing (dues up to date) of the Rockford Art Guild. You can submit one or two photos in jpeg format of your art work to jbartisans@gmail.com. The cost is $10 total for up to 2 pieces. This is a first come-first served show so you are wise to submit work early.
All work submitted must have been completed in the last 12 months and must not have been shown previously at Nicholas.
ANY ARTWORK SUBMITTED FOR THIS SHOW MUST REMAIN AT NICHOLAS FOR THE DURATION OF THE SHOW! NO EXCEPTIONS, NO SUBSTITUTIONS, NO REFUNDS. You must submit pictures of your artwork to jbartisans@gmail.com for verification. This artwork will be the piece (pieces) you will bring for set-up. We will notify you of the hours for set-up.
